THE MINERAL FLUORITE
The Felix Mine located near Azusa, Los Angeles, CA has been known as a source of fine fluorite specimens with rare dodecahedron crystal formation. The fluorite crystals have surfaces composed of smaller parallel cubic crystal faces that reflect light simultaneously.
The Felix Mine is no longer accessible due to urban sprawl and the vein has long since been mined out. This is the LAST of these specimens!! These are small 1 inch specimens but they are very nice indeed. The largest ones that ever came out of the Felix Mine were only 2-3 inches.
