Mineral Description

healing crystals

Tumbled polished orange calcite imported by Kidz Rocks from Brazil. These are not the small 3/4 inch tumbled stones everyone else sells. These are very large tumbled stones that we have custom made for us by our Brazilian supplier.

These are also properly tumbled stones. They are tumbled just enough to create a polish but while still retaining the original unique shape and character of each stone. Only the best at Kidz Rocks!

You will receive one crystal measuring 2 inch to 2 1/2 inches and weighing between 2 and 3 ounces. These are only lightly tumbled and the polish is NOT a perfect glassy finish but more of a natural soft soapy feel. They are unique.

Bulk Purchase Specimen
You are buying one rock. You will receive a rock like the ones in the photographs, not the exact rock shown. The photograph with multiple rocks is so you can see the range of differences in this bulk purchase specimen listing. Photographing and listing every rock separately adds a lot in labor costs. We pass that savings on to you with lower prices and higher quality than the competition.

Calcite is a common part of sedimentary rocks, limestone in particular, much of which is formed from the shells of dead marine organisms. Calcite, like most carbonates, will dissolve with most forms of acid. Calcite exhibits an unusual characteristic called retrograde solubility in which it becomes less soluble in water as the temperature increases.

Calcite is fluorescent or will glow under a black light. Calcite is white or clear, though shades of gray, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, brown when the mineral contains impurities.

HEALING PROPERTIES

Calcite increases and amplifies energy. This makes it an excellent stone for distance healing, as well as other types of healing. One of the energies it amplifies is learning abilities, and thus is a great stone for students.

Calcite is a protecting, grounding and centering stone, and can help bring inner peace. Since calcite also promotes creativity and imagination, this inner peace it can bring is a vibrant one.

Calcite has been said to increase prosperity. It can also be helpful in astral travel and in channeling, as well as increasing intuition. Calcite is also a stone of spirituality and wisdom.

All calcites are helpful in lessening of fear and reducing stress. Calcite is probably the premier cleanser of stored negative energies in the human system, and works on all levels from the physical to the etheric. This makes it a very purifying stone. Orange Calcite will help to balance the emotions, remove fear, overcome depression as well as simply dissolving problems standing in your way of achieving your highest potential. It is particularly helpful in removing phobias, as it will help to restore mental and emotional equilibrium.
