The photograph with multiple rocks is so you can see the range of differences in this bulk purchase specimen listing. Photographing and listing every rock separately adds a lot in labor costs. We pass that savings on to you with lower prices and higher quality than the competition.

Pink tourmaline, also called Rubellite, stimulates not only the Heart Chakra, but the Root Chakra as well, bringing an increased flow of prana, or life-force energies, to nurture and heal the emotional body. Its grounding influence increases a zest for living and for lively interaction with others. It helps revitalize passion and joy in sexuality, and aids in making dedicated commitments based on love.

In the home or office, Rubellite Tourmaline helps neutralize the harmful effects of microwaves, computers and other electronics. Tourmaline is a shamanic stone, providing protection during ritual work. It can be used for scrying, and was traditionally used to point out a cause of trouble or an offender, and to indicate a good direction in which to move.

Rubellite Tourmaline soothes the emotional heart, helping to overcome fears concerning abundance, survival, stability and safety, and supports those who feel isolated or have difficulty in feeling at home in the world. It draws upon Universal Love for healing, and suggests that “heartbreak” can be “heart-opening,” and grief can be as valuable as joy. For those who are emotionally numb, Rubellite provides the way back into feeling, and allows for those who have become passive to rediscover their zest for living.

Tourmaline (pronunciation: TOOR-mə-leen) is a crystalline boron silicate mineral compounded with elements such as aluminium, iron, magnesium, sodium, lithium, or potassium. Tourmaline is classified as a semi-precious stone and the gemstone comes in a wide variety of colors. The name comes from the Tamil and Sinhalese word "Turmali".

One of Tourmaline’s most distinguishing properties is its ability to become electrically charged simply by heating or rubbing it. When charged, one end becomes positive and the other negative, allowing it to attract particles of dust or bits of paper. This property of pyroelectricity (from heat) or piezoelectricity (from pressure or rubbing) was well-known to the Dutch traders of the 1700s who used Tourmaline to pull ash from their Meerschaum pipes, calling the stone Aschentrekker, or “ash puller.”

Tourmaline has many different varieties with different names. Pink or red tourmalines contain lithium and are called "elbaite" tourmaline, named after Elba Island. Elba island, Italy was the first locality where colored tourmalines were discovered.

Tourmaline is distinguished by its three-sided crystal formation; no other common mineral has three sides.

The "Ethereal Carolina Divine" is the worlds largest cut Paraiba Blue Tourmaline and is the worlds 6th most valuable gemstone worth $125 million!
