This raw moonstone was imported by Kidz Rocks from Pugu Hills, Dar es Salaam Region, Tanzania. These have small bits of biotite mica which is an associated mineral that moonstone forms with. The biotite is the black mineral you see in the photos.

For every quantity of 1 you will receive 2 specimens from the lot shown in the photos that are 1 1/2 inch to 2 inch and a total weight of 2 to 3 ounces.
